Breaking a Cometa Empty Breaking a Cometa

We're breaking a Cometa for parts, most of the machine is there, but not all.

So far what has gone is:

Indicator Switch
Headset Top
Flasher Unit
Rear Light Bracket
Legshields
Hubs
Rims
Tank
Headlight Rim
Footpegs

If you are looking for anything else, let me know. I'll let you know what condition it's in and then make me a reasonable offer. We aren't looking to profit from the scoot, just break even, so we wont be profiteering from it.

Hi Siobhan,

I'm very interested in getting hold of the lubematic linkages on the engine case.

I have a cometa lined up for resto, but unfortunately its missing these Crying or Very sad .

Do you have them at all?

Cheers,

Jim

Jim,

pretty sure I have all that.

You mean everything on the outside of the engine case except the normal gear change etc?

Hi There,

definitely have the Gear change. The throttle housing is broken on one half where the pin goes through for the front brake lever. However, I may have a spare Throttle housing.

I'm just off to the US for a week, so will get back in a weeks time.

Sorry, the junction box is not available. My partner in crime on this scoot has taken it. His broken one, for which he has the parts is available, is only broken where it bolts onto the frame so is repairable if you are interested.

Already gone. Sorry. I'm amazed they aren't remade, so many people seem to need them.

Staffy, OK I have the gear change, as already mentioned, and I found my spare Throttle housing, which is in excellent condition.
