i do have a seat base, needs work though. also fewq other bits n bobs, stand, hubs, powder coated silver. i have a box of stuff i will have to sort it and and take some photos of what comes with it,, nearly all there,, little bits missing...

Hi been to lock up today, found a box of bits to go with the cometa,
2 sets wheels,
front hub,
rear hub,
handle bars,
stand all in powder coat silver.
head cowling black also powder coated.
All this is brand new never been fitted still in wrapping from coaters.

£1655 and still not reached its reserve was wishfull thinking to say the least, he should have took the money and run even before it reached that, he will regret it unless its relisted for the 3rd time

Damn right. I would bite the arm off of the 1655 person. If your reserve is not met you can accept the highest offer.

Just as information about the range of Cometa prices:
I got my one from ebay last October - went for 1040GBP (which the seller reduced to 1000GBP because it was anyway far more than he expected. Still some very kind people out there!)
Running condition, V5 and quite complete:

thats more like a sensible price innocenti-71 for a complete unrestored machine, the one on ebay wont reach £1600 in a month of sundays.

Yes, £1600 does seem rather ambitious.....

ambitious maybe, but prices are starting to reflect what restoration costs, and there's a premium for originality and provenance.

I have an original unrestored Li series 2 and a restored TV S2 . . . I use the TV but the Li sits in the hallway, I couldn't replace it if I had the money for two TV's
