Re: Latest Project
Cheers All. Well finally got beam on with the patient help of Weeksy. It must of taken us 2 hours in all She is now completely finished inc MOT.
I took her out to York on Sunday gone to give her a shake down, jet her in & put some miles on her. Now time to enjoy at last!!
I would like thank all the dealers for parts supplied, Pete Gavy for top paint job, Weeksy, Gary Carr & Scotty for all their help, & last but not least Wenders for letting me clog the Garage up for the last 6 months ....Now Lincoln anyone...

What an absolutely stunning scooter!
Well done that man!
I'm interested to know what kind of performance you think you'll get?

Re: Latest Project
Cheers Mickey. I kept her at between 40-45 & occasionally blipped up to 50. It feels strong & tractable with the reed-valve fitted, but I don't think it'll push much past 60? which is fine as I want to enjoy the ride & be able to hang with (some) of the lads when going away. I've done some miles on it now, so will wind her up a bit & report back.

Re: Latest Project
Thanks again for the info. I ask as Martin at Chiselspeed is doing similar engine set up. I like the idea of 50 + cruising speed but having never ridden a luna before, ii think 60 will feel really really quick! Nice to have tho if needed. Well done again & you've made in time for summer, I need to get a move on.
