Re: very quiet
I would love another project for winter but can't justify the over inflated prices we pay for our luna parts etc. I must get round to getting the reed valve conversion done it's just the piston i need, perhaps Mick my tuner might have a thought on that. I haven't used my Cometa since summer i think i'm going to change the cables over winter and do a bit of tidying up.

Re: very quiet
i have bought my wiring from rufforth the other day, bought a crimping kit and terminals, i have cleaned the ports up on the cylinder, matched the transfer ports to the cylinder and the 1mm gasket, so it should flow better.
also bought new bulbs and stainless screws for indicator lamps.
i have a sheet of gasket material and have needed to make up a gasket for the inlet manifold, as the original ones are slightly obtrusive, and when you alter them they seem to knacker up.
so while been busy at work i cut some more
got another couple of weeks off shortly, so will try to find some time to make a engine stand, tried looking for a old petrol tank at rufforth, but were all silly money (£25+) just so i could bolt a tank to a frame and get the motor up and running without been in the vega chasis.

Lui Project
It's time to get back onto my Lui project so I've been busy sorting out powder coaters, chromers etc. Just need to source some new tyres, get cables and I think I'm about ready - famous last words....lol
