I sent my Vega log book off to the DVLA a couple of weeks ago to get the colour changed and the cc corrected. No sign of back yet and the Vehicle Enquiry page hasn't altered, should I start to get worried about a lost log book or are they just inefficient? The Vehicle Enquiry system says my DL doesn't exist and when I phoned up about the girl was very disinterested Evil or Very Mad

Anything up to 8 weeks in my experience so a bit early yet.
Colour shouldn't be a problem though you've probably invited hassle with the cc's as you'll probably be asked for a dealers letter to prove the work was carried out properly.

As far as I know the Vega was never reduced to 50cc, although considering all the messing about that's been done with it its not impossible I would suspect it was a DVLA c*ck up in the first place. I know a couple of friendly scooter business' so getting a letter shouldn't be problem, if it comes to it. Surprisingly the computerised MoT system (or at least the Motorcycle dealer I use) only has 3 Lambretta choices: GP125, 150 & 200. So the Vega is classed as a GP125!! Ridiculous. Anybody else found this?
