Wanted bits
Hi does anyone have any headlight springs spare or a set I could borrow to try have some made? Plus I'm after the rubber spacers for under the tank as mine seem to have perished. I realise these may be out there to buy but the p&p charges make them expensive rubber, unless any of you clever people have an alternative????

Re: Wanted bits
There's nothing special about the rubber strips. Any similar thickness sheet could be cut to fit. Casa Lambretta are now listing the headlight springs.

Hi Paul, where have you seen the springs please? I was thinking of using an old inner tube cut down but didn't think it would be petrol resistant. Cheers

Re: Wanted bits
The springs were advertised direct from Casa on their FB site. The tiny amount of petrol that could affect the rubbers (due to spillage) would have a negligible effect.
I know I made my last lot myself I may have used an old floor mat or something similar.

Yeah I used cut down inner tube for mine too. Not had any problems as yet Dave, although saying that I've not been breaking any mileage records as of yet
