ADMIN PLEASE CHECK

Pete, Daz, I'm getting warnings whenever I log in either by mobile or p.c of virus threats. My mobile says I have some kind of virus in it. I only get the warnings on here, never on any other sites I visit. Could you please check everything is ok. Thanks

Sound dodgy to me Dave, what type of warnings? Do you have a screen grab?

I've deleted this site from my phone and I've forgot the name it said the virus was (it's probably still in my phone ) My P.C has Norton security so only sometimes I get a warning message. Saying that, last night whilst looking at the Luna projects thread I got a Java update and after clicking to update I got a load of unwanted downloads which took over my internet connection page and gave me a back up my files etc prompt .I removed that but seem to be stuck with "Optimiser pro" The Norton says it's ok but I can't delete it at all

Dave I stupidly downloaded that Java update as well. Dont know why as its a bit of a school boy error. You have will have installed a whole load of Malware. Not really a virus, just very annoying. Try downloading and installing something called malware bites (bytes) and removing anything it finds.

Before doing that go to add remove software and orderyour installed software by installed date and then remove anything installed on the day that you installed teh fake java update.

The java thing is still showing up on here even after the clean up, you can't get anywhere when it shows up when you cancel the page the whole lot goes.
There's deffo something adrift here. Admin??????????????

I've not had that stupid java update since but yes it was here that it came up. I think it's most likely to so with one of the advertisers on life discussions and maybe an issue for the website. / server admins rather than our forum admins

not seen anything on here, never had one of the java updates, but if I do get them i'll know not to use it.
