Somehow I don't think mine will be ready in time

Looks like Brid won't have a display by the LOC. Shame as I was hoping we'd get a club display in this one. 2 of the people who said they'd show have backed out and we're sunk for another year. I'm determined that in 2014 we will have a display at Coventry and Bridlington. Anyway, I'm off to sulk in a corner!

That's a shame, I think we could put something together quite special. The Luna range is popular now more than ever if you go by what gets sold machine wise on Ebay. It would be such a shame if the club that best represents them can't get together before the wave of popularity fades away. Come on you owners lets have something other than just an internet based club, Bridlington is the same thing every year (Money spent in thousands on larger series scoots) our little machines break that mould and therefore so refreshing for scooter lovers to see. Can we yet pull victory from the jaws of defeat????

You are right of course it is, I was just asking if it could be a bit more every now and again? 

TBH, I have no interest in putting into a Custom show, but good luck on your call to arms! For me the best way to show them is to ride them when the chance comes along while we can - get plenty of comments, even if they aren't all complimentary!

The plan ( if the weather is kind & one of the lads uses his LD ) is to have a leisurely ride to Brid Friday  , park her up, recover, get  Fri/Sat, then ride her home Sunday.

You have made a good point I enjoy riding my Vega and you do get some comments and they are loved by the scooter community. gc suggests that this is an internet club and to be honest I have question how helpful it has been for me. I have made a few posts this year seeking advice and there must be wealth of experience in the 150 plus registered users but out of this number only Thackers and Admin have given any constructive advice.

Any thought on doing this for this years event?  

Adam, hopefully this is a goer this year. Gill's Lui is due to be delivered in the not too distant future and I'm hoping that the re-build and repaint of my Lui 50C will see that there as well. Are you looking to put your scooter on the club stand if we have one?

Yeah, I'm hoping mine will be done in time, all the paint work is done, it's just a case of leaving it to harden off properly and then source some engine parts out to finish the motor

This year Brid club entries are limited to 5 machines. No day entries. How's the scooters coming along you guys ?

I'm pretty sure mine will be finished. It's the only rally I'll get to do this year. What date are we taking?

Yes it is, even though the thread title is for 2013.
Getting folk to come together is extremely difficult and has only come off once to my knowledge.

 i'll try and get there this year, might not be on the vega though.

Received the dating certificate this morning!
Been to Armando's and managed to get an original 50cl rear light, will be booking it in for the MOT next week and then onto registration!
I may well see you all at Brid!
