weekend ride

we had decided to go for a ride outside of Athens last weekend
so despite the bad weather (first rain of the season for Athens) we said that it would be pity this ride to be postponed.
my intention was to use my blue 175tv3 for this ride. I enjoy it a lot especially on the mountain routes. You see my Li2 is too "delicate" for such a ride on a bad weather, plus I don't trust its Conti whitewalls.
So the decision was to ride the TV
unfortunately a few days before I was unlucky to have a damage on the TV's flywheel, so I didn't have enough time to repair it.
but I was desperate in going to that event
And guess what... I ve decided to go on the Vega
I spent the last 2 days of previous week, checking if the Vega would make it.
We wouldn't ride for too many miles. Just for 140kms in total, but this would be on bad rainy weather, and through some old mountain roads where the quality of tarmac/asphalt is not the best.

Vega proved to be tough enough but the Pirellis filled with mud LOL

at the end of the day it proved to be a ride we all enjoyed.
Vega did ti very well even in bad weather, and earned quite a few points and definitely a special place in my heart
I have to admit that the more I live with this little machine the more I love it.
Seeing their prices now, and despite the poor spares availability, I would strongly recommend to anyone who has a limited budget to go for a nice Vega. It can offer you a lot of fun and I am pretty sure that you won't regret it... :wink:

To be honest I did not believe that the little Wega would follow all the ride.
To my surprise I was trying to catch up the wega all the way !!!
