I've got the base of a luna (single seat) which I was hoping to foam and re cover but it looks like there should be a catch at the back which appears to be missing. Can someone take a photo of theres so I can see how it should look, or let me know if i can buy them

I don't know if you can get what you need from the photo, the prong that stands upright seems to be pressed out of the seat frame with a barb to keep it closed down. This is on my Cometa i dont know if there the same on the single seat Lui. I hope this helps Wink

not sure on lui seat, but there will be a flat metal bar that goes through the gap in the back of the seat, and that catches on what looks like the upright number 1.
the flat metal bar is held in posistion via the screw hole you can see in the top of your picture.
there will also be a spring attatchment, but unsure of where it goes on a lui.

Thanks for these fella's, have only had a quick look, been in meetings all day, will try and have a good look at them tomorrow and get back to all the personal messages.

I'm in no huge rush with the whole thing as I have a series 2 which I'm working on at the moment, and also I need to make some decisions on the engine before I even start thinking about the seat.

However I do have some strong ideas about what i want to do with it

Its in (relatively) good nick, and i think that its all original paintwork, I've had it dated and its a 1968 one,

Everyone says that i would be mad to re sray it, but I'd like to do a 70's style "superfly" type thing, very rich purple colour, I've bought an old leather jacket (off e bay) which i was going to use as the seat cover.
Should i leave it original or r espray it..... Discuss?????

Many thanks, and sorry to be a pain, but i thinks its the top section that I need a photo of, rather than the bottom bit .
