HEADSET BEARINGS.
Hi... Would anyone know where to get a set of headset bearings from.. whilst getting to the steering lock I noticed play in the steering.. Taking the bearings out I noticed half of the ball's missing..

Hi, I recently got a set from Cambridge Lambretta. Other places to try would be Scooter Restorations and Torbay Lambretta. Allstyles and Scootopia might be worth a phone call as their websites are poor compared to the above.

..mmm. I went to the local bicycle shop and got a bag of ball bearings the same size and used them,
Does anybody on here service or repair there own ??? ....

I've heard of the idea to use loose bearings as you've found, some prefer it. Plenty of grease to hold them in place. I think you get more in that way, the advantage of a race is probably just ease of assembly.
