Registration plate..

Is it a legal requirement to have a front reg plate showing on the leg shield, I ask because I've just bought one from Italy, and there's no way I'm putting one on..

Hi... getting nearer to reciveing my lui 75 from Italy, it's now in the uk, but guy who is bringing it over said there's no key with it, and the guy selling it, said the same, I presume the lock is only a steering lock,and not ignition.....

Hi Donald, you are correct the only key is for the steering. there are 2 types of lock one bolts on and the other has 2 metal straps this type is the rarer of the two. Jem Booth is the man to get a key cut from you will need a number though and this will be stamped onto the lock, possibly on the face. You might have to remove the centre tunnel section to access the lock if the number isn't visable and to do this you need to lift the headstock up to give more wriggle room , not an easy task
