LUI 50CL restoration

recently bought a LUI 50CL to restore when it came the right frame strut had snapped off so the plan was to cut them both off completely and cut a complete strut off an old knackered frame and weld it on
so this is where we have got to so far

Not too sure if you know, but you can buy all these brand new from Scootopia

I know but thought it would be a shame to waste the ones on the other frame

progress been made (slowly)
got the frame welded today this is what it looks like fits perfectly. made sure that there was plenty of weld put on

also got wheel studs that where loose brazed back in place

Welding looks good Luke - good idea to use the original part
