Value of Vega 75 Uk bike

Hi all,

looking for a Vega 75 and have one im about to negociate a price with the owner,the bike is all standard and has been restored to a very high standard in original trim paint ect i dont want to take advantage could some of you guys give me a pointer on approximately what its worth? thanks in advance

What is the sale price? That's somewhere to start from

I personally wouldn't pay that, that price is in the larger series price bracket. There was a highly tuned vega on Ebay recently and I don't think that sold, he wanted £1800 if memory serves, and all that tuning isn't cheap.
It just depends how much you want it and how much the seller want to do a sale, start off low to go high. Without seeing it I would tend to start at £1,500 and go from there. If he won't give you a starting figure you can't be wrong for making a starting bid.

Hiya,thanks for your input that makes sence and was what i was thinking,i have seen 2 lui 50s on ebay going for around £1000 and 75cc bikes go between £1500 >£2000 depending on condition? i will work along these guides and keep you all posted if i get the bike

Good luck with, I agree with what Dave says. It would probably cost £3k to get Rimini or the like to do it for you but that does not mean that you will ever see that money again when selling. Same goes for any tuning or customisation.

Deal done provisionally at £2000 with additional parts included picking up in just over a week so will post pictures when safely home,thanks to all for help/input
