Anyone up to anything
It's gone a bit quiet on here again, are we all in the garage tinkering or shut up for Xmas?
I bought a pair of stands recently (to use at Brid, me or someone else) and have the bike on them at the moment for a little maintenance/adjustments. Hence the plea for the cable adjusters and rear brake arm (which I think I might of sorted with the poor Indian part) I must say they make work much easier instead of scrabbling around on the garage floor. It will be easier also when my reed valve etc comes back. What you up to people?

just got the little cometa motor out and on the workbench at the moment, it needed a clean up so it was easier to whip the whole motor out and clean it on the bench rather than the floor, just bought a full set of cables for it too, no one sells any cometa throttle cables so ended up making my own, it always turns out to be one of them jobs you wish you had not have started

Hi Daz, yeah I was trying to put up some pics but can't for some strange reason. That's why I have the other thread up in the chat section, I do the same process for other forums and it works but not here.
I've been trying to load some photos for the "rare" section too.

Yeah, they are well made. I got them on Ebay £30 all in. They fold up a little for storage too. I would imagine a clever lad like yourself could probably knock up a pair in no time.

not got access to tube bending stuff, and my time is now more precious than spending hours cutting, measuring and welding, it would be better to just buy.Thackers wrote:Yeah, they are well made. I have considered making a small tier so that my yellow Vega can sit above the orange cometa, similar to what coxy used to have in his museum.

Pete, the Ebay sellers ID is 11danv. I don't think he's got any on at the minute but he has had plenty to sell, so I think he makes them. He lives in Cambridge.
