fork races and bearings picture

My biggest concern with the Vega I have, is that I might not have all the parts for the fork bearings and races. Its all boxed up at the moment, but I was wondering if anyone has a photo, or could take a photo of the whole assembly, top and bottom of the fork, laid out on a table maybe?

that would help me see what Ive got...

if i get time tomorow i will photograph parts required, if i dont keep pestering me

Tell me, i,ve just bought some!!! Jockeys also do them & a fair bit of other Luna stuff. Managed to get the last pair of Locking rings off Jem but have got to get me own Washer laser cut...

its the washer that seems to be the elusive part, very often missing. i do have one that you can use to measure / copy if your getting some laser cut, might be wise to get a few done..

i think i have the spacers and maybe the washer, just not sure exactly what they look like.

the Lui i bought arrived to me in pieces...so now im worried that some stuff is missing from that as well....

only plastic parts on the forks are the cable guides.

from that pic i see:

39. dust cover
37. race that goes on fork?
36. upper and lower bearings, the same each location
35. race that goes into frame, near headset
34. adjustment rings
33. lock washer

is that correct? the link to the pic of the bearing set shows 2 big races, do these press into the frame? top and bottom the same?

there are two cups that are pressed into the frame. they are top left and top right of the rimmini lambretta link picture.

forks, rubber boot, lower bearing race, bearing, then this goes up against the lower frame cup.

with forks through the frame, bearing against frame cup, ontop of that goes the bearing race, followed by 1 locking ring, followed by locking tab washer, followed finally by last locking ring.

Should the rubber boot/dust cover just lift off the forks?

Mine will spin around but does not seem to want to lift up the forks - I have not applied too much force yet as I dont want to damage it

ok thanks to everyone, I have managed to sort through, and find all the bits for the fork races, including the rubber boot.



That looks like the fork race is still on the fork - correct?





does anyone know what this washer is for? is this for the rear shock nut?

ill be laying out more hardware and taking pics in the coming weeks to help identify what goes where

one think I see I need is one more of the cable guide arms that go at the rear of the fork/fender. I have one.

yes thats the lower race still on the fork leg, i remember looking for one for weeks and had it pointed out to me by a certain mr petch that it was still on the forks and had been painted

not sure what that washer is from, there is a thick washer that goes on the bottom shock bolt and also a wavey washer, if you need them i do the thick washer, wavey washer and nut in stainless.

yes probably, not had anything on there for a while though.
