Club Patches & Stickers

Sometime ago I did a limited run of patches for the club. I'm looking into doing some new ones as well as some club stickers - would these appeal to anyone?

You want a T shirt Daz?? You can have as many as you want now - at a price...

I have finally got the image at a suitable quality for T print, got some quotes and am willing to resurrect the offer to get Ts with Jonas's original design printed up and sent out. That's if people want them? Preorder required and payment up front so I don't end up with any unwanted leftovers.
I know some got them made up themselves after the long delay...so do we still have any takers?

If your getting them done now Sarah then i will have one as i was going to get the back and front printed ones done once someone cleaned up the border around the Ridden logo. I was going to get the unridden on the back and the ridden on the front but if you have sorted it then happy days.

OK - now that I'm back from sunny spain - 38 degrees plus - don't you just hate it...lol Anyway, I'm e-mailing the legshield banner guy today with my idea which is essentially a white banner with the club name in black in the middle. On either side of the club name I will get him to put images of the flags of the various club members nations so Great Britain, Japan, Columbia, Australia, USA etc so it should a nice eye catching design

Ok, the graphics man has done his work and come up with one sticker design and 2 legsheild banner designs. I'm after your thoughts on these. To be honest I'd like te writing to be orange outlined in black as I think that would be more eye catching but let me know what you think.

Looks good, I agree about the colour of the wording as its just more Luna.

Too much colour with the flags and on some they seem to blend into the white backgound. Did the Luna range go to all those countries????

I'd definitely be interested in a sticker and patch. I think too many flags! Out of interest a friend of mine here in Melbourne wanted me to get some floormats for his friend in Vietnam. Didn't realise the Luna range went to Vietnam? Don't see any of the Viet scooter shops selling any parts either. Cheers - Peter

I THINK THE FLAGS ARE MORE TO DO WITH WHERE THE MEMBERS OF THE LUNA OWNERS CLUB ARE FROM RATHER THAN WHERE THEY WERE SOLD, BUT PETE WILL NO DOUBT CONFIRM THIS

OK, the flags represent every country where the LOC has a member or members, they are NOT to represent the countries that the Luna line were exported to. In fairness, when the club patch was done people monaed because it had the Italian and British flags in the background and some people felt that this wasn't representative of the worldwide nature of the club - something that I have now tried to redress.

If people don't like the flags then please make another suggestion.

As I've said the writing on the club name will be changed - these are only preliminary mock ups by the graphics guy. Does anyone have any thoughts on the colour of the banner itself - on this one its white BUT it doesn't have to stay that way if people think that another colour is more appropriate.

So....let me know your thoughts.

Sometimes less is more, as they say. how about keeping it simple with black writing on a luna colour background, maybe to match your own machine. With something like..........Luna owners club, etablished ???? underneath in smaller words or if you want the flag idea a white background and the flag of the member who is buying on one side of L.O.C and est ???? on the other. I suppose bearing in mind the width of our legshields it doesn't want to be "too busy"

OK - the sticker I'm leaving essentially as it is, except for changing the club name to being in solid black.

Thackers your idea about the background being plain is a good one and I'll see if the graphics man can do them in red, white, ochre, turquoise, green and orange. He might even be able to do silver! I'll see what he says.

Glad to see you also like this forum Thackers - hopefully we're heading in the right direction - especially as we're now up to 30 registered users on here
