Hi from sunny Manchester!!

Ive recently bought a cometa, ( even says cometa on the old style logbook) with the intention of restoring it , so be prepared for daft questions of me about this!

I bought it complete with just the airfilter and headcowling missing so hopefully ive got all of the hard to find parts.

Hopefully heres a photo of it!

remember seeing this advertised and was very interested in it....

with more parts and knowledge available nowadays restoration/rusteration couldn't be more simple...?

...main problem you may be facing is stripping it down without destroying main components...?

removing main engine bolt,splitting crank & flange and removing rear hub...

Also you don't have a vega in M&m's in stretford do you? I was in there the other day and the owner said he had one in and maybe another on the way, which is odd as I never see anyone else round these parts on lunas , well since Dave booth lost interest anyways
