headlight resilvering Empty headlight resilvering

have been working hard on scoot.after inspecting headlight it will fail on mot. reflector plating not good enough also some as come of.i have managed to split glass from bowl.have any of you had one replated if you have could you please let me know who you used .cheers nige

hello nige, its realy expensive to have them resilvered i was quoted £60 for an sx one
so i bought a cheap & nasty new one instead , but i have glued baking foil (shiniest side out)
to headlights in the past & theyve passed mots no problem

CHEERS BUT 60 QUID DOES NOT SOUND TO BAD CONSIDERING HOW MUCH NEW ONES ARE GOING FOR .CAN YOU REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE COMPANY WHO QUOTED YOU THANKS.

i think it was either s,p or s,t chrome platers in bristol , have you tried trev harrison
at midas touch he might be a good bet

thanks lads i wil contact them and go for the more expensive option .the headlight wil be like a new one then and i woulnt have forked out 200 quid like that one on ebay at mo.thats a lot of money for a vega headlight.but some one will buy it for that. if they need one
