Dogbone question

Whats it for, my vega came with one with 2 8mm holes in it so I made a new one without any holes in it. Today I put the one with the holes in back on, makes it sound a lot more interesting and breathes a lot more easier epecially when going uphill, so is it just to keep the noise down ?

Good question. Never thought about it, just assumed it did nothing!

my exhaust is modified .it as holes in dog bone

I know the modified exhaust has holes in the dog bone, but they're cut open and baffles removed aren't they. Anyway it does make an improvement so it can stop on until somebody complains
