Brid or Coventry ???? i've had a go at both shows with my Cometa. Brid is a hard nut to crack show wise, even though it's a lcgb thing there's no cat for luna/j or anything else that's not main stream. And when the competition has had thousands spent on them our little bikes dont stand a chance individually, but as a club stand now you could be talking.
Coventry is a much more diverse show where the full blown custom/ chopper etc etc are in the minority and they do have a trophy for the Luna range plus club trophy.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a trophy for the club??????????
So either one or both what's it to be? Question Question

I would say Cov for the vey reasons you have mentioned as Cov is a bit of anything and everything plus its bigger so a club stand would be easier to arrange as to get it done at Brid would mean one of the novelty tee shirt or mug and coaster set sellers stalls would have to give way and this would only leave about 20 others then so can't see it happening.

On a selfish note then i would want to ride it there so as i live in Staffordshire then it stands more of a chance getting the 50 miles or so.

I'm busy working on the VMSC idea - I agree with the comments about Brid - BUT I think given time (not this year) we could mount a nice club stand there - so never say never Very Happy

I spoke to two more people about VMSC next year and they are up for attending with us as a club so add a Vega and a Cometa to the list of those that are already saying they are in.

I think the ones that are in should provide the relevant details to Pete or Daz over the next couple of months at latest so as the arrangements can be made as one and all details can be confirmed.

Thoughts please.

Cant speak for the last couple of years but i have personally in the past ordered trophies for the very classes you mention for the Bridlington CS and at the end of the show these have been sadly left un-awarded

Im certain IF luna owners wanted to enter in order to win trophies rather than to just display their machines and they booked in advance the LCGB would be more than happy to accommodate the owners of these little machines, id say more than happy.

Bridlington custom show advertises pretty early so get entry applications sent in advance, and for the record to make-out the club would rather give space to a novelty stall holder instead of any Lambretta display is silly in all honesty!, i dealt with trade stalls for almost 10 years at Brid and scooters were, and still are, given preferance ALWAYS

I will make enquiries if there is any interest as it would be good to have the odd Luna entry at Bridlington Smile

Weeksy I'm looking to have a LOC display at Brid as its our 10th Anniversary - who do I need to speak to on the LCGB Committee to let them know? Or could you let them know we're looking to do this. Pete
