Hello again from Gordon (Eves)

Hello all Lunatics, just thought I'd get back on the site after a 2? year absence. I've finally got my fat lazy backside in gear and am having the final "big push" to get TTL16J finished. This is involves getting the legshields/tank/frame cleaned filled and sprayed. Couldn't see at first how the cover would ever fit, but Danny at Scootopia explained the procedure. Vega's were clearly not meant to be dismantled, but be disposable (my theory).

Question - my tank is quiet "wrinkly" on the sides - were they always filled or left like this in paint?

The only part I'm missing now is a headlight surround. Anyone any suggestions by anyone apart from e-Bay. Or do we just sit tight and wait for the repro ones to finally appear?

Enough for now - I'll post photos when I work out how.
