Hello AK here

Hello all,

Been a member of Luton Lambretta Club for the last 40 years, raced in the 80s for the club and fell in Luna range which at that time was on the Scooterist most hated list.

I own and ride 2 Vegas, 1 a Hybrid conversion, and one an original Ochre 75s which I have just bought back to life after 20 years.

I’m looking forward to sharing what knowledge I might and completely steer clear of CP135 etc, purely because of cost and originality. I was taught by Pete Mullinder to fettle what you have.

Hi and welcome along. It is often very quiet on here but the site is worth it's weight in gold in my view. I doubt there's not much you can learn with your background and time served but you never know. Enjoy your visits

Hello AK and welcome to the world of the Luna line - Pete Mullinder was someone I had a lot of time for and I met him on a few occasions including a Dyno Day I ran at Cambridge Lambretta when his home tuned TV 200 more than stood its ground against some of the kitted machines out there.

Hi Mike,

It’s a 50 special engine neatly fitted into a LUI with some trick welding. The top end is a 115 Malossi, if I knew how to send a pic on here I would so here goes

sounds interesting and i imagine pretty quick. i'd be interested to see as i can only imagine it looking a little unbalanced. i used to be able to post photos but completely forgot which is why i've not been on here much lately.
