...if you're fitting j hubs to vega case then I think the cams are different... in length?
i fitted j hubs...'Wack' modified a vega cam by beefing up the cam end for me...?

Did you order a brake arm Thackers? I know you've wanted one for a while so wondered if you'd seized the opportunity.

Hi mate, yes I finally ordered one off Ebay (from India) and i'm waiting on it's arrival. There was a bit of a delay in ordering as I rang Scooter Surgery following a tip off on another forum that showed them having one on their on-line shop. Useless really, their site is at least 3 years old and they didn't know if it was still in a box of bits:roll: I'm still waiting for a call back (nearly 3 weeks) I'll post up when it arrives from India on quality, fit etc.

The item arrived today and is total garbage surprise, surprise . The two sides are completely different where the adjuster will fit and bent too, I think if I try to fettle it, it's going to snap plus the splines look to me like they will slip on the brake cam.Thackers wrote:Hi mate, yes I finally ordered one off Ebay (from India) and i'm waiting on it's arrival. Re: Starstream rear brake arm
Worth a try-better than just hoping one turns up I suppose. They do make a massive difference to adjustment and when I can be bothered, will weld a couple of clutch arms together and adapt so I can adjust the clutch easily. Good luck with your hunt - be worth it when you get one.
