Rear carrier Empty Rear carrier

Post  villmark on Mon Apr 18, 2016 1:09 pm

When looking around the web I noticed that there seem to be different versions of the rear carriers around.

The one I saw at the Tuttolambretta Lui looks quite different (no Innocenti stamp, the struts seem a bit higher on the sides maybe because of the pressing process or to make them stronger, the strap holes are pressed in the tin)
The carrier on the Lui75 on the forum looks different (Innocenti Stamp, welded lugs for straps, looks flat on the struts.

Please take a look

Is the carrier without the stamp genuine or pattern part ?

Are the remade ones currently offered any good / recognizable as patterns ?

I cant comment on the majority of what you ask but I guess there are bound to be differences with any re made item, just because the manufacturing process will be different.

If you want original then you are best looking for an original item although I guess the occasionally a remade part might actually be better...sorry to be so general.
