Almost lost the lot

I'm another one with PC troubles as mine has un-RAID-ed itself again and lost the plot. The root cause appears to be one of the SATA power connections had broken and fallen off, so one disk was obviously not working - those connectors are really poor . Luckily I bought a back-up external disk about six weeks ago and it did its job perfectly. It was tocuh and go re-build, I ended up having to use DOS to rebuild the registries and indexes, blimey that took some doing.

If it wasn't for all this nonsense, I could get out on my scooters.
