I'm always loking at pistons which could be used in the Vega here in Colombia, one comes to mind as looking suitable it's from a Bajaj Sunny 80cc (Yes ,Bajaj who make the Chetak Vespa clone) it's like a Honda 50 cub but 3 speed ,2 stroke).

there must be something available off the shelf that will fit, its just finding it Neutral
going to use a malossi piston in my vega, from memory its around 51mm, just needs a small packer under the cylinder.

i'm sure somewhere on the internet will be a system where you can input the piston size, crown height etc and it will give you a reccomended piston.

something similar to whats advertised below.

Vespa 90 rings fit with a little gapping to the Vega piston.

I'm not convinced by a 4 stroke piston in a 2 stroke, you certainly wouldn't get far with the oil control rings fitted.

that piston casting looks worse than th rocker covers I have made!

i was refering to the diagram and the size measurement table, not the actual piston.
should have made myself a bit more clearer.
