rear number plate
Has anyone got any good method for fixing a number plate to a lui other than using a Vega light holder? I'm sure someone on here mentioned that they were looking into this problem

Re: rear number plate
I'll make my own plate from thin plate and bend it to the profile of the frame, make a couple of spacers the depth of the raised spine and use the rear mudflap fixings to hold it at the bottom. The curve will give a bit of ridgidity. Then I'll paint it matt black and get a signwriter to paint the reg on. Alternatively you can buy self adhesive letters and make your own plate up.
You could always put a blob of hot glue at the top at the back to be sure it won't move.

Thanks for the suggestion Rob
I was hoping for an easier solution, as I think if I followed your suggestion anything I managed to construct would look like a dogs dinner!
Looking at your project post I think you would make a much better job of it!
