Re: NEW 75 cc cranks!
Now I am a new Luna owner and always thought new cranks were non existent? The crank in mine appears in good nick but I am not the lightest on the throttle and I would like to buy a new one for when mine gives out (when not if). The price seems reasonable but has anyone fitted one and are able to comment on fitness for purpose?

new crank
hi, I just bought one of these cranks but its slightly different to my old one. the old one has a small taper against the web unlike the new one which has the two slots . can I still use the 3 piece bearing and mag housing.cheers.

Re: NEW 75 cc cranks!
boozy, the crank and 3 part bearing you have are mis matched.
the crank with the taper is for a ball bearing type bearing, the 3 part roller bearing is for use on the non tapered cranks, the mag flange bearings are not interchangeable either, again crank specific.

new cranks
cheers daz, just had another look and scratch of the head.you,re right it looks like the previous owner had fitted the 3 piece bearing to a roller bearing crank, no wonder it was rumbling its tits off when I started it. got all the correct bits now for the rebuild. what size is the woodruff key supposed to be. cheers.
