Vega 12v Conversion.
I've not had any replies to my query about a 12v conversion for a Vega, using the Sunny (Indian J125) stator plate. Has no one done one???

not a bad idea
they seems to be a series 1/2 4 pole type - this one might even have been LD based, LDA used
12 volts if I remember right and 12 volt conversions were quite popular on 4 pole stators in
1900 an freezing cold may prove to be more reliable as it has a more robust type of
condenser but much depends on whether the flywheel is much good, probably a steel one I'd
guess - brass being so expensive these days.

Not a lot of enthusiasm......
No one seems very impressed with the Sunny 12v conversion.....
I've looked but can't find the electronic version Itsjoeyfontane is talking about, where is it?
Presumably its uses Rayspeed's "lightened" flywheel (i.e. ex-Vega type) with the centre changed.
I have one on my GP and it does give a nice little boost to the acceleration. I can now outdrag small children on tricycles.
