The following dealers have reasonable supplies of Luna line parts - ring them first and ask to see what they've got:

Armandos (Sheffield) - the last time that I was there they still had large stocks of NOS stuff - badges, headsets, handlebars, inner legshield beams, mudguards, handlebar controls etc

Allstyles (Portsmouth) - bought a lot of stuff from Rafferty Newmans and have various items

Totally Scooters (Barrow in Furness) - has many items that were also bought from Rafferty Newmans including some engine parts

Scooter Restorations (Nottingham) - have stuff such as rear light lenses, speedos etc

Scooter Emporium (London) - bought all of the spares etc from Nigel Cox and will need a ring from you first and they will check to see if they have what you are after.

If anyone knows of any other dealers with stock then please feel free to list the details to help other Luna-tics Very Happy

The two others that spring to mind are Scootopia (Casa) and Jem Booth (although Jem has not been heard of recently)

Also there are these guys in Italy

Dealers Empty What about.....

Post  siobhanellis Sat Jul 31, 2010 5:26 pm

When I had my vega in the 80's I found out what happened to all the parts in the UK. I used to live in Manchester and was talking to one of the Horners brothers. Apparently when Innocenti shut up shop, there were two containers of parts in the UK. Horners bought one and the other was bought by a shop in Yorkshire (Near Bradford - I forget the name). I actually got a set of front crash bars from the Bradford shop, and I got a completely rebuilt engine from Horners for 75 pounds :-)

Anyone know what happened to their stuff?

From what I heard I think they did the normal fire sale when the shop closed.

I would of loved to of gone but think this was in my ravey davey days and I missed out. I happen to live just round the corner from the old shop and drive past quite often wishing it was still open.

Lens of Shipley is it!

He had a prototype twin there when I visited. If I remember correctly it was Water cooled and had a yamaha crank. Reckon it ran out of road and was still accelerating.
