lammie drive.....all please read
I am putting this here as I firmly believe it deserves our attention and financial support.
Siobhan is a avid Luna enthusiast, and also a member of this site.
Some might not even know that she resides in Australia.
Siobhan intends to drive a lambretta from one end of Australia to the other (please see link )
http://www.lammiedrive.org.au/
this is in aid of breast and prostate cancer.
now while i fully appreciate this is going on in another country, but the help, support and the research that this could bring to light, might just help someone going through this terrible disease.
even if its just a few pounds this will still help with the cause.
good luck Siobhan !!

Thanks
Thanks everyone for your well wishing. The best things you can do to help are:
1) Donate :-) Http://www.lammiedrive.org.au
2) tell everyone you know about this! Facebook is https://www.facebook.com/lammiedrive
3) Come along!
Do this on a Vega? Seriously! That's quite a call. It's 6350km. However, if you want to do it, you are more than welcome! Tino Sacchi is organising everyone from Europe. He's brought scooters into Australia before on a Carnet so knows all the hoops you have to jump through.
Any questions, just ask. BTW, I'm expecting to be at EuroLambretta in Belgium this year.

What happening with Siobhan?
I haven't seen any news about this mad cross Australia trek. What's taken place?

Still here
Still here, if you want to know what is going on, take a look at the web site or the facebook page. On the web site there is a running blog.
Also, should see some updates coming in a magazine near you soon.

Nice article in the latest Jet Set, Siobhan!
My Vega TT is under way at last, hoping the major works will be done by January!

haven't seen it
Tony,
haven't seen it yet. What month is that one?
We'll have to see what spares we can russle up for you whilst you are here, just in case, as Luna/Starstream spares are not easy to find here.
